SJK(C) Min Te Equipped with Comprehensive Drone Facilities
(Sitiawan, 16 Mar) To ensure rural children can stand on the same starting line as urban children in the era of artificial intelligence, Cheng Heng Ling Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJK(C) Min Te in Ayer Tawar, donated RM150,000 to build a "Maker Space (STEM LAB)" for the school. Coupled with the donation of a smart drone education facility by Lama International Intelligent Technology SDN. BHD., this makes Min Te the first Chinese primary school in Perak to possess comprehensive drone education facilities and a dedicated classroom.
Jiang Zhaoyu, Chairman of China-based Lama International Intelligent Technology SDN. BHD., recently led a delegation to the Min Te campus, bringing along self-developed smart educational equipment. They donated an advanced drone teaching system to the school, which includes 10 Hula educational drones and supporting equipment.
During the ceremony, witnessed by the committee members of the school's three major institutions, Cheng Heng Ling and Jiang Zhaoyu signed a memorandum of understanding on drone education cooperation, laying the foundation for further deepening collaboration in drone education at SJK(C) Min Te.

Keeping Rural Students Up with the Pace of Technology
At the drone system donation ceremony themed "Empowering with Technology, Educating for the Future," Cheng Heng Ling mentioned in her speech that Chinese schools often have to put in more effort regarding resource allocation. Especially in the face of the impact of artificial intelligence and the teaching needs of the new generation, lagging hardware is one of the biggest challenges. Therefore, she hopes this donation will not only allow rural children to access cutting-edge technology but also ensure that Min Te's students will not lose at the starting line.
Jiang Zhaoyu stated that what they brought this time is not just equipment, but a "key" to unlock the future. The drone system will be deeply integrated into Min Te's teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, letting the spark of technology truly ignite the classroom.
He emphasized that in the AI era, Chinese primary school students must not lose at the starting line. Therefore, he expects this equipment to cultivate the children's spatial thinking, programming logic, and interest in science, allowing rural students to also touch the forefront of technology.
"The strength of Lama International is never merely hardware manufacturing, but rather transforming cutting-edge AI technology into the most user-friendly 'teaching aids' and 'learning tools' for educational scenarios," he said.
Nga Hong Hong Headmistress of SJK(C) Min Te, also represented the school at the ceremony to thank the Chairman and Lama International for their generous contributions. She emphasized that this is a vital milestone for the school in implementing technology education, and a concrete manifestation of its comprehensive stride towards a modern STEM educational vision.

Drone and Robot Dances Amaze the Audience
Furthermore, to let the guests, teachers, and students experience the charm of technology firsthand, the event meticulously arranged a "drone swarm dance" and a highly dynamic "robot dance" performance.
The scene of drones changing formations in the air drew continuous amazement from the entire audience, heralding SJK(C) Min Te's official entry into a new era of smart education.
